How mutual funds, money market funds and pension funds like? how are they different?
Market Fund Money is a type Mutual Fund. It is a place to park the money you may withdraw at any time, at any time. Because investors can withdraw their money at any time, the money market funds invest only in the short term, liquid securities and "safe." Mutual funds are purposes of long-term investment. There are different types of mutual funds that invest in different asset classes of stocks, bonds, some commodities, mutual funds, etc. to invest in other investment funds. An investor usually choose a set of different types of investment funds to achieve diversification. A pension plan works as follows. Workers (the beneficiaries of the plan) will help a part of their salary to the plan during their working years. The money is accumulated and invested in a fund called the pension fund. The fund is expected to grow and sufficient resources to pay promised benefits at retirement.
