One of the hardest aspects of the design of pools and waterfalls, is trying to convey my ideas to my client. Come with award winning designs pond or application using knowledge and experience is not a problem. My challenge is to get my client to see what I see. Drawing and painting are not my forte, it is almost impossible to me a rock, not to mention water. The hardest part for me is the perspective drawing. Before discovering the art of digital design of my most common phrase was: "Trust me." Wait until the pond and waterfall is finished, I promise you that you love. Unfortunately, "trust me" are the two most common words used by sellers of used cars! God thank you, most of my clients were referrals from satisfied clients and he knew what he was capable of creating. Imagine a base of over 1,900 referrals from satisfied clients.

Years ago, I discovered a computer program called Photo Shop and has realized he could use to create virtual images of water games. I learned how to cut an element of an image and paste in another. In fact you do not had nothing new to me, as I did in third year. This is called cut and paste. This Only now I use a mouse instead of rounded scissors and edible white pulp. (I mean the manufacturers to add vitamins today.:)

I started to scan dozens of photos in "Photo Shop", which converted into a digital image can to be manipulated in hundreds or thousands of ways. The Photo Shop program has a learning curve quite important, especially for someone who is familiar with the technical design, so I started looking for a solution to my design department of the pond.

Scanning photos

Microsoft has developed a user friendly software (short learning curve) to work with photos. They can be scanned into the program or digital photos from camera digi-tal can be downloaded from the program. Then each image can be improved through a variety of processes such as brightness, contrast, blur, hue, etc. all with a simple mouse click. A Once the picture is finished, then I can crop the image objects such as rocks, groups of rocks, plants or parts waterfall and pond. What I did for thousands of pictures of waterfalls and ponds that have accumulated over the past 26 years. I gathered these jpg images indexed in a library.

Using this process with hundreds of pictures of my projects, I was able to build a large library of objects to strike a "before" photo of the courtyard of a client for the design of the pond. Now I can take a digital photo of a private courtyard on the image and download Microsoft Digital "Continuation of the program. Then dragging multiple items from my library, I construct a waterfall and a pond of any shape, size or configuration in this table.

So thank you to the arrival of the digital age it can rely on the role of a virtual image or idea that was in my head. Accordingly, my clients can see exactly what your pond and the cascade will be completed once. Now a design basins only a few minutes.
