money market rates florida

Question on money market accounts?
I begin with the attempt to save money and I want to start small scale (with about $ 500). I've been looking on bankrate.com information on the money market and the best prices seem to be banks that are not in my state. I live in Florida. Am I able to open a money market account to the outside where I live? I know this may seem a stupid question for those who are pros at savings and investment, but I fully Clueless at this time. Thank you! =)
Yes, of course, you can make it difficult to do. But keep in mind that are related to risk and reward. With market funds money investing in different things, are backed by various assets. So with a higher rate may reach funds of a higher risk produce less in the future. And the information is at the end. This is money to be made in the past. As they say, is not predict future performance. For example, funds invested in Treasury bonds were strong increases in capital gains as the value of their bonds, increases interest rates fall. However, with interest rates the lowest incomes of less money in the future and if rates rise the value bonds fall. So what now appears to not seem as good as the economy begins to recover and climb rate. Be cautious.
