Can I use images gettyimages.com royaltry free ads in the newspapers?

I have an account Gettyimages. I do not want you can copy and manipulate and edit images copyrighted and publication in the local paper or banner ads on the Internet? Most of my friends say it is very well as long as you do not make money from it. Some say its good because it is royalty-free, I can make changes and its publication. I am just worried about the extent of its use. I read the words and images Conds RF Gettyimages but really do not understand. I want direct answers and specific reasons which I can or can not use 'em.

Royalty free means just that. You have the right to use them for any purpose without paying "royalties" whether commercial or personal. Hope this helps. Be careful because it may be just a few images are NOT royalty free. In which case it would be to get Courtesy of the artist / editor for use in print or affect any use, non-profit.
