Each year we strive to achieve all that our teachers for children, both in December and again at the end of the year. Here 8 ideas that I used over the years with teachers from my own children.

1. Gift certificates from Starbucks, the local bookstore, stationery store local supplies in the office or in a local cafe, IÂ've always been warmly welcomed by all, and some professors even told me appreciate what the Masters Cup coffee they receive each year.

2. A basket with pens, pencils, erasers and other small items of class. Teachers go through dozens of these each year. ITA wonderful when a parent can replenish the supply.

3. One year we went to Costco to buy snack boxes. He bought little boxes, and gave each teacher a basket full of sandwiches. We included peanuts, a couple of candy bars, small cans of Pringles potato chips, fruit snacks and some water bottles.

4. If you know teacher likes to give small candies, including chocolate Kiss in the class, buy a bottle and a huge bag of kisses Costco. Often, when teachers offer this, the candy is paid by the teacher. It's nice to have a parent buy the candy that will last at least a semester.

5. If you know the teacher is a coffee drinker, a pound or half pound of gourmet coffee is a great gift. If you know the teacher is a tea drinker, an assortment of teas can make a beautiful gift.

6. If you know the teacher has a specific hobby, a gift certificate to a store to sell items related to this hobby is always appreciated.

7. Board games are always appreciated by the teachers who teach younger children. With age, the parts are lost or broken. Replacing older items are always welcome.

8. WeÂ've had teachers over the years maintained a List A "Wanted. This list includes donations" Extra "that the teacher did not budget for, but love in her class room / her. Throughout the year, as people move, so Spring clean families donate items to this list. Generally, these elements are used. How To get a new element, which is on the list, what the teacher wants to know the subject. Sometimes, teaming with some other families, buy a new bookshelf, a series of books that the teacher wants, or even floor cushions for children to sit.

The next time, instead of buying a cup, a ceramic block or lotion / aftershave, consider the above points, a teacher can really use and appreciate.
